Biography

Josaphat Klemens is a guitarist celebrated for his emotional touch and distinctive energy in every performance. With his bands KILMS and AIU, he has made a significant mark on the Indonesian music scene, gracing prestigious stages and earning multiple accolades, including the ICEMA Awards, INDOGO Awards, and two AMI Awards for KILMS’ songs and albums throughout more than two decades of his musical journey. Beyond Indonesia, Josaphat has also taken the music of KILMS and AIU across borders, performing in Japan, Korea, and Malaysia.
Throughout his career, Josaphat has explored a wide range of legendary instruments such as Gibson and Fender, each adding new dimensions to his musical expression. Today, he has found his new home with FGN Guitars—an instrument that beautifully blends the warmth of tradition with the modern precision of Japanese craftsmanship.
