Biography
Gilbert Joshua is a Jakarta-born bassist and a core member of Indonesian rock band St. Loco. He discovered the bass during junior high school and developed his musical foundation through formal studies and church music, which strongly shaped his playing style.
After studying at Institut Musik Indonesia (IMI), Gilbert co-founded St. Loco, leading to their debut album Rock Upon A Time (2004), followed by Vision for Transition, Momentum, and H.O.M.E. He has also collaborated on other projects, including Royal Ego, and worked as a producer for pop-rock acts.
Today, Gilbert continues to perform with St. Loco while actively creating and serving through music within the church community.
