Biography
Temsujungba Jamir is an acclaimed guitarist, composer, and touring musician recognized for his soulful, expressive approach to the instrument. As a co-founder and key figure of the band Trance Effect, Jamir has been instrumental in shaping the group's signature sound and seamlessly adds fusion of rock, blues, and alternative rock. Deeply inspired by Brain May, Shawn Lane, Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci, Nick Valensi and Albert Hammond Jr of The Strokes, John Mayer, Mateus Asato, Robber Ford, Adam Hann of 1975, Brad Delson of Linkin Park, Mark Tremonti, Matthew Folowill, Dan Huff, Michael Landau, Warren Mendosa blackstratblues. With an international touring portfolio, Temsujungba Jamir has graced some of the world’s most prestigious stages. His performance credits include Lollapalooza India, who shared the stage with Linkin Park opening for the legendary Def Leppard, and international showcases such as the Gwangju Busking Festival (South Korea), Big Mountain Music Festival (Thailand), Hozo Music Festival (Vietnam), and Music Matters Live (Singapore).
